It's still not a good idea to show up at an airport with this attached to your sweatshirt, but I have a lot more sympathy for the 19 yo for not thinking that this would trigger men with submachine guns (?!) treating her like a terrorist. Really, this was even more innocuous than the last Boston bomb scare, triggered by Lite-brite displays of a cartoon character flipping the finger.
